By using DeviceHop, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Purpose of the service
DeviceHop provides temporary browser pairing and file transfer functionality. It is not a long-term backup, archival or cloud storage service.

Permitted use
You may use DeviceHop to transfer files you are legally allowed to possess and share. You must not use it to distribute malware, unlawful material, stolen data, abusive content or files that infringe another person's rights.

Your responsibility
You control which files are selected, who receives the pairing link and where received files are saved. Check the intended recipient before sending and keep your own backup of important data.

Service limits
The current maximum is 512 MB per file. Browser memory, network conditions, device power settings and connection restrictions can affect transfer success. Sessions and limits may change as the service evolves.

Availability
DeviceHop is provided on an as-available basis. Continuous operation, compatibility with every browser or network, and completion of every transfer cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, abuse protection or technical failures may temporarily interrupt access.

No storage guarantee
Because DeviceHop is not a backup service, it is not responsible for preserving transferred files. A file should be considered received only after the receiving device has successfully saved and verified it.

Abuse and access
Access may be limited or blocked when necessary to protect users, infrastructure or the service from abuse, automated attacks or excessive resource use.

The DeviceHop privacy page explains how file content, temporary sessions and operational metadata are handled.

Changes
These terms may be updated as DeviceHop changes. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
